Artist Statement

My work is extremely influenced by my experiences with dissociation and memory loss. I do not remember the work I create. I do not remember the process of creating. This creates a disconnect between the artist and the art itself. Yet it makes the process of creating a personal one. It's special because I know I will not remember it.
